Galaxy Pods Capsule Hotel Boat Quay

Too small space for the baggage, you have to keep everything in your suitcase/backpack all the time. It is impossible to charge the phone in your capsule if you have a newer phone with usb c port. The room is very cold because of the air conditioning!

This is fine assuming you are here because you are on a tight budget and not for the joy of sleeping in a pod. It was the cheapest place I found in central Singapore at fairly last minute and I think I was lucky to get a lower pod. It was very convenient for City Hall MRT. There were loads of restaurants and cafes around and it was near to Boat Quay. The staff were helpful and friendly. I thought that 3 toilets/showers would not be enough for the floor but I did not ever have to wait to get in. I would recommend this if your budget is low. The toilet/showers were a bit small. There was a notice to say don't put tissue in the loo but the bin was too small to contain all the used tissue. There could be more room around the locker area for people to open bags etc. The area where the shoes were stored was not big enough to comfortably take off/put on shoes. The night I stayed, there was a couple talking till midnight and the guy was singing at one point. I don't think they got the concept of communal sleeping.

The location was clean and well laid out. The pods were more spacious than I thought, and the amenities were nice. I only stayed one night, but it was just what I needed. I like that the lockers were big as well, and the location was fabulous. Close to a lot of businesses and restaurants, and the Boat Quay.

The building was a little hard to find. I walked past it three separate times even though I was looking for it. The signage is there, but it isn't as noticable at times.

I stayed here with my 10 year old. We loved it. The capsule was spacious and everyone else was respectful and keep the noise level to a minimum. Excellent location. Would stay again

- really good location, close to the MRT, - free water and you can buy some snacks at the reception - the capsule is a good size, it has a lot of lights, air con, safe box, small table and even a small tv and place to charge your phone,

- under the mattress is SUPER dirty, it looked like none cleaned in weeks!! - the toilet is connected with a shower, so the floor is most of the time wet and dirty, - bare in mind that the hostel is located in a pub/ party area and it's loud at night even inside of the capsule - prepare earplugs, - there is not a lot of space to store baggage

The location was very good. I liked the space style. The capsula size was bigger than we expected. The staff were very helpful and kind. After 10pm, they noticed the guest in the reception hall to be quiet.

We had a couple capsula, which is located on the downstairs, just next to the reception. It was a little bit of noisy which came from the reception and came from outside because the front wall is just a thin glass and the couple capsules not separated with wall, the capsules are the the 'wall' therefore every noise can came inside. I am surprised because the most negative reviews are on the noise, and the owner doesn't do anything against it to please the guests. If the front glass wall would be changed for a three layerd sound insulated glass and the couple capsules would be separated with a wall from the reception, it would be very quiet. And there won't be more complaints and it would get higher reviews.

It was in a great location! The staff were so lovely, and the pods were bigger than expected! Comfy in them and the lockers were quite big as well!

The air con in the pods didn’t really exist so they got hot. The tv didn’t work and the charger in the pod didn’t charge so I had to use the plugs outside the pods but this filled me with anxiety as I worried about my possessions being taken. The showers weren’t always the cleanest but hey that’s shared bathrooms for you.
